Our Certified Educator:  Ingrid "Melody"



Ingrid:

Ingrid "Melody" Lightfoot graduated in the field of esthetics in 1986 and in 1996, became certified in Sculpted Pink and White acrylics. So began her career in the business of nails, as a booth renter.
In 1999, her interest in Gel became her mission, to learn everthing she could about sculpting gel with forms, gel products(Brands) & which work best, sanitation & proper business ettiqette.
In July of 2004, Ingrid opened her own Nail & Esthetic Shop in Stouffville, ON. In 2005, Ingrid recieved her "Educator" Certification.  She is determined to raise the standards in the nail industry.  
"There are many, many people who lack proper training.  Perhaps they have taken a 6 hour class which is brand specific.  This is simply not enough", says Ingrid. 
Melody's Nail Academy of Ontario provides theory, sanitation techniques & hands on application, which together, give students what they need to be properly certified as nail technicians.
